I spent years working in research administration focusing on building diverse teams and gaining critical funding in the areas of pediatric oncology, pulmonary medicine, dermatology, and anesthesiology.
I additionally spent years coordinating executive committees, leading change enablement initiatives, managing daily operations and teams and coaching leaders in leading C suites in the world-renowned Texas Medical Center.
I additionally had the pleasure of working in the child development field and today when not coaching am devoted to working at a local non-profit that aims to improves lives by pursuing evidence-based solutions to pressing problems.
I grew up in a multi-generational home where caring for one another, attaining an education, practicing respect, and having faith devotion were non-negotiables.
I didn’t know we were not well-off financially because I was surrounded with a culture of more giving than taking.

As a result of this I have a keen understanding of the differences between needing and wanting, the value of a sound financial plan for life, knowing money really is not everything, and have never found much use for being critical of others.
My grandfather was my person and I lost my mom in my early 20’s. I have two amazing, kind, and resilient sisters who are my best friends.
I learned that life is not easy, love is always critical, and that second chances can happen every day, sometimes earned other times not, but nevertheless to be seized for the better good.
I choose each day to be the best I can be in service to those I know and love, those that pass through my life, and those I am yet to meet.
I am not perfect and that is okay. I am uniquely me.
You'll find me at Pilates, in the garden tending to my veggies, hanging out in the hammock listening to tunes with my four-legged friends, Daisy and Gracie-Lou or spending time cooking with family and friends!

I foster tremendous respect for military families as the wife and mom of Army Veterans. I am a planner and a do-er. I am currently invested in both a personal financial plan and a wellness journey and I am CRUSHING it!
I no longer put my personal priorities (health, happiness, purpose, joy) on my imaginary shelf. The shelf has been dismantled thanks to growth gaining on my own coaching journey.
